How it all started
Process Control Services (PCS) was started in the year 2021 as the outcome of a company merger. President Wade Mathis was not new to entrepreneurship so when the opportunity presented itself he decided to put in the work to develop a team of experts willing to work hard at what they do while still having fun. PCS cultivates an environment that not only suggests creativity, hard-work, and responsibility, but rewards it and supports it. Every employee at PCS is allowed a yearly budget for continued education.
How it’s going
Process Control Services has grown exponentially in the past years, establishing a foothold in the Water and Waste Water industry as not just a small systems integrator but a nimble one that is capable of responsiveness and quality that gets lost with larger entities. We think of our clients more as friends, and we look forward to every being able to help our “friends”.
FWRC 2025
In the photo you will see Natalie Darnell, Drew Darnell, Gregory Kumpula, Ron Robinette, and Wade Mathis. Together we make up the TLS Automation Group. A team of individuals with decades of experience in automation and control systems. Not present for the show is our team of highly qualified technicians, but you will surely meet them at your job site.
Showcased at the conference this year was SmartComm RTU and it’s variants. SmartComm RTU is a configurable controller that requires no programming software, just an HMI to configure. It then communicates using the SmartComm Protocol to both your VTScada server and the SmartComm Portal simultaneously through a secure cellular connection. SmartComm’s newest feature is that is can communicate to most any PLC on the market to report your data securly and quickly.
